I have used the velco cable wraps to keep rods from getting all tangled
Looking for ways to stow 2 and 3 jigs on a rod. I have long and short rods. Tired of the tangled mess when showing and Taking back out next trip. Thanks for your Ideas.

not sure on 3 jigs, but two you can bring the lowest under the stem of the reel and hook it hook to hook with the top jig.

Tgis is how I did it. I would wrap the line around the rod until the last jig is against the rod blank then cover with the velcro wire wrap to secure.

They sell clear plastic Velcro wraps for that. I’ve seen people use aluminum foil wrapped around the loose jigs but I just use bread twist ties to secure my loose ones but may switch to the Velcro wraps. Reached in backseat this morning in the dark while driving and hooked a jig into my sweatshirt. Had to stop to get it out.

When you start to leave . #1 put hook in keeper or into handle or last eye (your choice ). With no bend in rod hold line out from rod (about a foot ) with your thumb and first finger spin the rod (rod is straight up in the air )until all line is wrapped around the rod . Should be no bow in rod tip when finished .
Thanks all. I use different rig setups. My perch jerk rig is weight on bottom secured at handle with Velcro. Bottom hook secured in eyelet, top jig or hook just dangles since it is a short loop knot. My crappie double jigs I would secure bottom jig on eyelet and top jig dangles free with short loop knot. I am starting to do top jig with a 3 or 4 inch leader for better separation and that top jig poses a problem with 4 long 10 to 14 foot laying down on my bass tracker with little seperation.
Just wanted to get some ideas how you handle those long rods. Thanks again.

With that much going on down there ,a swivel and the rest on a leader would probably be the way to go .

Get you some small cheap hair bands from the dollar store/Walmart .
Go around the rod and back through its self as you pull it up to where you need the loop to be it tights on itself and want move. then put ur hook in the loop .
