I use Bobby Garland and Cutthroat plastics along with a few random no name tube jigs I bought at garage sale. I’d give a slight edge to Cutthroats but if the bite is slow I’ll use the tube jigs with decent results.

I really don't think there is such thing as best bait. The bait you have the most confidence in is the best bait. My favorite changes during the year but right now the Yum beavertail is my favorite. Yum stop making them years ago so I bought the mold and pour them myself.

I used to be big user of curlytail grubs. But now I would have to say my favorite is the crappie magnets. I do have some Bobby Garland baby shads in my bag that I give a try occasionally. They all get a lil sauce added to them.

Most of what I throw is Bobby Garland. Any of their different varieties. They are sold everywhere. At least they are around here. They have been catching fish for me for a lot of years.

Creme Sparkle Mini Tail in Silver Glitter Pearl has by far caught me more crappie than my next 5 favorites combined.

I’ve been impressed with the Freaky Franks crappie worms. Only been using them a few weeks but have caught good fish with them.
