    Default My Ckick report 4/2/2022

Did not get out as early as I hoped but finally got out. Water surface temp around 57. I managed to get two crappie in the boat so that was a plus. One 12 inch and one 10 inch. Name: 2E48A331-C984-474F-AA1A-7B6FDBE97D9F.jpg

Thanks 12 inch is close to my best if not my best. Never know I may get a 15 inch also one day . I have never broken a rod in half before. A tip at the eye once. But I didn’t fall in the water and the only thing I hurt was my dignity lol.. I am sure a couple guys across the lake had a good laugh. No cell phones were harmed either lol. Good luck tomorrow all.

I had a bass boat buzz me and put me in the bottom of the boat last year. Year before that I was in the bigger boat. A wake boat came by in the main channel. I turned the boat toward the wave. Spun the seat around and cast out the back of the boat. Next thing I know my feet get wet. The wave rolled over the bow of the boat and flooded the area between the decks. I had a 6 inches of water in the boat. Took the bilge pump 20 minutes to dewater the boat. That wake boat was throwing out a roller

Please be careful and remember to wear your life jacket. I used to not wear it nearly as much before becoming a member here.

I am a firm believer in life jackets. That was instilled in me as a child and I was wearing mine. Since I like the vest type It gave me protection even though I was fortunate and didn’t fall in water!
