I almost posted a post similar to this just recently.
If you were to see our upstairs bonus room you’d think I was either a fishing tackle dealer or a hoarder . .
    I have rods , I’ve never used . LOL !
When my Tacoma Extracab was damaged in a wreck two weeks ago and they first told me they were going to have it towed , you should have seen the stack of fishing tackle I had on the side of the road .
There was no way I was leaving my tackle in that truck unless they were going to haul me off too.
Luckily, I was able to pay the wrecker driver $60 to pull the fender away from the front tire so I could drive it home .
I had two or three flyrods and I think six it was six take down spinning rods . And about six tackle bags . LOL .

I did some spring cleaning in my back seat the other day, being on the move constantly my truck is a second home, fully stocked with what will get the job done if need be.
went to grab something from under a pair of insulted bibs and there laid a firetruck, pretty sure my grandson left it there.
Of course my wife said why do you have a firetruck in the back seat ?
Me of course responded this about that .......
to pour water over the reels when I set them on FIRE !
then it occurred to me this about that ....
maybe I have too many rods in my back seat ?
    KABOOM is the word ya'll
I see you have several cord grip handles on those poles,,,better treat them with sealer or they’ll end up like my Huckabee dippin stick with cork cracking and falling apart,,,,at $100 plus for a rod,,,I’m not a big fan of having to treat anything,,,,but lesson learned today after pulling her out of the shed…

That's like asking why is there air? to fill up Basketballs, volleyballs and such or tires on your boat. spent winter going over my stash, at least at the house, not condo or lake house and found I had more than I thought. sprayed reels, reset combo's and adjusted them but too many? LOL no such thingy.

going to take all those gift cards from the kids and wifey and head to BPS to get some higher end stuff and add to the inventory. we don't NEED anything at this point in our lives but dang it fun to go check out new rods and their potential for ketchn.
