sometimes things go sideways in a blink , that good news is ,you didn't spill it in your eyes .
I used to try to fix stuff that looked easy to save a buck or 3 , but these days i refrain from a few of those it looks pretty easy to me things .

Update on the burn that I thought was nutin much. The update is “ouch”. Especially after the blisters broke and you wanna use your arm. In hindsight I shoulda did like some suggested, aloe. All I did was triple antibiotic cream once the blisters broke to keep it moist so it wouldn’t hurt like heck when stretched. It’ll be fine but I thought I’d share. No need for prayers, pray for those suffering in Europe and Ukraine.

The love for fishing is one of the best gifts you can pass along
That sure does look like ouch! Doctor that up good and heal soon. The fishing is starting to get good.
Learning from past mistakes or experiences is a very hard teacher. No matter how many times I told my children, and my grandchildren, when they were younger not to ever touch the stove because it might be hot and burn you they never learned until they touched the oven door to find out for themselves. I too am thankful that you did not burn yourself more severely.
I also learned that what Snake River posted in the safety rules on making hot plastic lures was also true. Always watch where you set the hot plastic when you take it out of the microwave. One day I was in a hurry and did not completely check my work area. Of all things, I set that Pyrex cup down on a fish hook!
You guessed it. That cup shattered in a hundred pieces. Glass fragments and hot plastic went everywhere. Thankfully I was wearing jeans, apron, oven gloves and eye protection....but still some of it still got me. Lesson learned! Again, I join others who are thankful you did not severely get injured.
