I really like my 13 foot Kevin Rogers signature series.
Might be similar to what you ordered.

Well,,,my package arrived today and needless to say I was about as excited as a kid with new daisy red rider,,,,I bring in this giant tube that Fed Ex dropped off as soon as it came off the truck,,,,I look at the way to open the tube and to my surprise, It was already open on one end,,,, I immediately hold it up and look inside,,,Nothing! Somebody freaking stole my $160 freaking rod…or lost something that fell out of a 15 ft box and couldn’t figure which box it came out of,,,,lol,,,,thanks to bass pro via their man taking care of shipping, they are sending me a replacement ….by way of USPS express shipping! Now that’s service!

I have been using 16' BGJP's for a couple of years now along with the 16' Pro Staff.

I just started using the 16' Huckabee K-rod past two outings and it serves me better. Not as light as the BGJP, but ease of hook set and sensitivity is a ton better. I just picked up the Jenko X-15 (two-piece) and an HH Tsunami 16' (3 piece, which arrives today) and have yet got to use them. I will be able to chime in on all of them after this weekend. Granted, it will just be one outing with the later two, but usually the stark differences that each will have may give some insight for those that are on the fence. I will say its going to be hard to beat that K rod, but the X-15 is only 8.5" shorter from tip to the reel set and a good bit lighter and is easily 3 times as stiff as a BGJP. Im ready to see the new 16' Tsunami which is just a hair lighter than the X-15, but I sure hope it has some backbone to it.

I don't know of a person not on a Pro-Staff with another company that has went Jenko X-13 or Jenko X-15 Series needing over 12 foot from a rod that has left & converted to something else after using them. The X-10 is a normal rod but the X-13 & X-15 have a totally different feel. I don't know of another 2 Piece Rod even in the ring to compete with it. MONSTER RODS. Respectfully the Jenko Kevin Rogers, Jenko HyperSense, Jenko Cypress , ACC Crappie Stix, BnM Blue Diamond Series , Rods are inferior to the X-Series. The BoneHead E-Series or regular Green 10ft is a better feel of a Rod with more back bone than the Jenko X-10. 10 foot - 12 foot I'm BoneHead for the feel & yanking power to get fish out without all the extra U-Shape Yo Yo Bend. You have a winner with Bass Pro & your X-13 & X-15 to me because Bass Pro offers warranty. Feel of what you want out of a Rod is PERSONAL!! X-13, X-15, & BoneHead E-Series 10Foot & 12Foot do it for me. When I set the hook I want them out the water vs horsing me around tying me up on timber, brush, or structure. How about an update from your original post, what do or did you think of the X-13 or X15?

I like the X15 paired with a bait caster. I use them in tournaments a lot but rarely on guide trips. Most my guide trips were using the 11’ Kevin Rogers or a 7’ Trick Stick if were casting or shooting docks. I will say you can boat flip a 3.5 pounder no problem with an X15!

@Takeum... Well don't ask UnLikeU, he might be a tad bit bias towards them. 2 X-15, 3 X-13, & 2 X-10's. The X-15 & X-13 are the best 12foot plus rods I've ever touched. I'm never touching another pole over 12 foot at this moment. 12 foot & 10 foot I say BoneHead Rods are the biggest bang for your buck that I experienced Name: 20240326_213126.jpg

Can't wait to hear your comments after you get thumped & land 1 with your X13 or X15. OMG..
