Point of interest, thankfully it sounds like they were using cheap, FMJ ammo, and not self defense rounds. I was watching a drug documentary the other night and one of the guys on there was showing his arsenal off. The magazines were loaded with FMJ instead of JHP. That simple detail could potentially be the difference in the message you delivered to us. Thank God he's going to recover and it wasn't worse than it was. I hate you and your family, and him, had to go through this scare and trauma.

I do not know about what ammo was shot or type of gun. I know the police have the bullet and a few videos from some street cameras. Last I know the Columbus Ohio police dept was trying to use facial recognition to identify these thugs. I am just extremely thankful for the hand of God intervening on our behalf and that this bullet entered the right side of his chest instead of his heart. The random acts of violence have been associated with gang initiations!

People, we have got to develop a backbone and report these gangs! If you see something please say something to the police! Parents, you must know who your children associate with and know where they are going and insist they are home by your curfew that you set. I do not want any parent or relative to have to endure what we just went through when you get word that a loved one of yours has been shot! It is at least twenty times worse than when the doctor told me I had cancer. Your body just trembles with terror, fear of the unknown, and a feeling of why did this happen.

Update, Jason is on bedrest with a few walking and breathing exercises for three weeks. After that he can return to his job as a trucking dispatcher. God does answer prayers and I can never thank all of you for your prayers.

Thanks for the update, Mike. I was hoping the police may have gotten some idea about who did this. You’re certainly correct about random, crazy shooting. Hopefully they will get a lead. Glad Jason will be able to return to work.
