Default Crappie Master Champs go old school.

Crappie Masters National Tournament Trail stop is in the books! The local team of Randal Stormant and Bobby Robinson took home the top prize of $10,000 with a 2-day weight of 28.94 lbs. The winners used a 13 foot jon boat with no electronics and cane poles. Old school at it's best.

Pretty neat, not many lakes where that is possible anymore.

It was on the St Johns river.
Guess they were way up in the shallows where others wouldn’t venture.
They were locals and knew where to find the big ones.
    Great lesson learned.

Everybody knows that’s impossible. You have to have the latest and greatest electronics to catch fish. At least, that’s what the magazines keep telling me.

    Good for them!

Impossible? Obviously not, and quite the feat. Congrats to them! Repeatable on a national touring series? Doubtful.
