Do they drain a battery like some people have told me.
Just looking for experience on them.

I thought that the Ultrex was either 24 or 36 volt not 12 volt

I have the same boat, and have 24v 80# MG XI5 with pinpoint, when I bought it and saw the difference in price to the 12 v model I decided on the 24v and have no regrets. I can troll for 3 days without having to charge. I will say I had the added expense of another battery and a 3 bank charger.

I use a 12v Terrova on a 17ft fiberglass Nitro without any issue. If the wind or river current is too much for that I don't need to be out there anyhow.

Where did you put another battery. I barely have room for the 2 in there

Sorry to hijack this thread, but has anyone wired two batteries in parallel in order to increase time?

I have a 24 Volt MK on my Tracker and I fit three batteries with no problem, the cranking battery is forward of the two TM batteries.
