    Default Beyond Braid?

I have been bombarded on the internet with adds for a new fishing line: "Beyond Braid".
Has anyone gotten and tried it yet? Like most adds "it is the best thing you can buy, and is wonderful in every way".
The lightest line they sell is 11# which is heavier than anything I use now.

I don't see why it's called Beyond Braid it is still made from Polyethylene. Berkley Fireline could be call Beyond Braid, because it's made differently than other Braids.

Don’t want to bad mouth anyones product but I will share my experience with the product……

I ordered 2000 yard spool of the camo and began putting it on my several spinning reels.
I was using a digital line counter and adding 125 yards to each.
First thing I noticed was the dye was coming off on my fingers.
Next I was 450-500 yards short.
I emailed the company and after several attempts got a response.
First questioning how I knew the spool was short and then telling me they would “take my word for it”
Offered me a 25% discount on next order!!!!
I informed them at 67 years old I had better things to do than try to get something for nothing and have someone “take my word for it”.

Haven’t fished it yet so can’t comment on that.

Won’t be any more ordering here!!!!

Just thought this might help others in some way.
    Thanks
    Chuck

I believe I would have told them I stretched it out through the neighborhood and measured it with a yardstick. Be more than happy to let them use my yardstick to verify my findings

Or... tell them about how you were gonna discuss it with all your older friends on social media and message boards, to see if they would "take my word for it".

Honestly I wasn’t even going to mention it until I saw this post.
Figured you win some and loose some and kinda embarrassed that I may have gotten snookered!!
Just thought I would respond since the topic came up.
What really made me upset was when he responded with “I’ll take your word for it” comment.
I know you can read something the wrong way but I took it as sarcasm.
Well I won’t order from them anymore and you CAN take my word for it!Beyond Braid?

They are certainly pushing the advertising dollars around. I would think if it was great line word of mouth would have taken over
