greed is a really ugly human trait, and when the fish are biting there are quite a few humans that let the greed factor come into play .
not sure why anyone would be that greedy , but after hearing a few tales from poachers in my travels , some of it is just to brag as well .
and then there are the ones that have that "I got away with it" gene too ......

My guess is professional poachers. The deer legs in that picture tend to show that.

Here in Florida the FWC visited a home and in the garage found multiple freezers all packed with meat. All illegally obtained and ready to be sold. The wardens came across one type of meat they could not identify and asked the fine gentleman what it was. He said- “Manatee”. I would not be surprised to if that jerk had eagle eggs for omelets. These are people that earn their living ignoring the laws regarding wildlife and see the animals as something waiting for them to sell.

Back in Virginia, fellers would shoot a nice buck and take it to the bars looking to sell it to some unsuccessful hunter. One night the buyer was caught with the seller and when asked, he wanted to take the buck home to brag to his buddies. The deer had been taken illegally.

They need to find the jerks these clowns have been selling meat to and get them in cuffs as well.
Maybe they will bite this one……

It's not the numbers or the size, it's the time spent on the water!

That would be my guess as well, CNG. We will see how it plays out.
