I have a couple 12 ft ACCCRAPPIESTIX and they are great.
Pair up with light reel and single pole all day.
I also have a couple 13 footers.
1- ACCCRAPPIESTIX. A bit heavier and called a crossover.
1- Kevin Rogers. Haven’t got to use it yet but I like the way it feels and also the weight.
All are med action with a fast tip.
Hope this helps.

It is and compared to my 14' Slab City, these were heavy. I will verify again, but I double checked and I was using the same rod he asked input on. They are great rods, but very heavy IMO. Again, this just my opinion and we all know what they say about opinions!
My advice, find someone with one or go to a shop and ask them to put a reel on it and see if you like the weight.
B&M BGJP 16 footer. I also have a 14',16' and 18' B&M ProStaff's, a little heavier and stiffer. The BGJP is very light and lets you put it right on the roaming fishes nose without spooking them. You can also pitch out 20-24 feet very easily to stay off of them. You're not going to flip a Deuce with it, but it keeps them buttoned up and wont beat you down holding it all day.
\I like the ProStaffs as well, but their weight and stiffness makes you have to ease up on hook set and not horse them around so hard getting to the boat or net. I never go to a shorter rod unless Im in fishing deep in open water. I can manipulate my jig much easier with a long rod.
I have a Huckabee 13' Phantom as well with a bait caster. It is a broomstick. Sensitivity is unrivaled and I have it rigged with a baitcaster and braid. It feels bulky to me with the baitcaster and I just never clicked with it, but the shorter length is my biggest hangup. I would try Huckabee 14' and 16', but I just think the weight would be a put off for 8-10 hour days.
