Look up kayak fishing crates. There are some nice ones built to store those storage boxes

I use a milk crate system in my kayak for my plano boxes and battery. Works good for me. But only hold so many depending on the size of Plano boxes.

I usually don’t use a lot of gear anyway in 1 day,,,mostly poles if your spider rigging,,,, if I take anymore then that, it tends to find a home in a wet boat which only causes wear and tear on my gear,,,great ideas guys

I used to own a 10 ft John boat and had to use a sack of corn up front to balance out my weight or I’d flip,,,,worked great
