Did you order any of these rods?

How is the line run, through the blank?

Never seen a rod like this.

    Thanks

We got hard water here for another 3-3.5 months and I don't like being on the ice.

So, I'm in the process of rebuilding an old Alumacraft into a full fishing boat. Casting deck, rod locker, tackle storage, livewell...the works.

Here's where I am at the moment...though I have a propane heater for the garage, I'm waiting until Thursday when the temps are back into the 20's to do pour foam.

From the bright color and scrapes, it appears you installed new foam blocks.

If so, can I inquire where you purchased the foam from?

May have a similar project next fall/winter.

    Thanks

That's 3/4" foam from Menards. They sell it in a 6-pack of 14.5" x 48" blocks for $10. Took 5 of those blocks to do what you see.

One of my biggest upgrades will be to build and sink structure. I have to old lumber that needs used up. Can't think of a better purpose

That would be a good project - if the MN-DNR allowed us to do that. We can't put anything into the lake to 'make' structure...at all.
Hunting them down to broil them up.

I'm working on structure myself. Told my wife I was cleaning a scrap pile. Lol
