    Default Light Recommendations

Going to start doing some night fishing. Looking for recommendations/advice on type of light, how many lights, color, etc. Any help or suggested reading would be appreciated.

I have two green submersible lights. One I built the other I bought. The last night trip I used a white led light aimed at the water. If I can find the thread here I will link it. A couple of photos of what was swimming in the light.

Is one light sufficient? How deep do you set the light? Thanks

I always catch crappie outside of the spread of light. I believe it is possible to have too much light. I set the green ones just under the surface. I believe the next lights I will get will be floating white leds. Just my preference. I did pretty well with the green lights. The white light over the side of the boat had a ring of shad swimming around it 30 feet in diameter. The crappie were outside of that
