    Default Today was the day.

Great day on the water. I was all over them and they were finicky. It's amazing how far you can follow a school. When they suspend deep and move, it gets tough. Ended up with 27 and got close to the 3lb mark. Most were around 15 inches. Adding Garmin livescope to the mix next week.
Had to keep a few of the deeper caught ones

Over a 16 inch fish with that girth one would think it would have the weight. I feel your pain looking for the elusive 3# Crappie. Still a nice catch and great way to spend time outdoors. No Crappie on my wall yet, I really would like the first to be over 3#'s.

Thanks everyone. I was always a bass guy, switched over to crappie a few years ago after stumbling on some huge schools in the fall. This is addicting and I'm the only one doing it on this lake. I can only imagine the lakes some of you fish. Will fish them in 10 or so years when I retire.
