Total for the year 999. It's not 5000 but for Spokane area, I'll take it. Still looking for the 3lb fish this year. Hit one each of the last two years and been close this year. Name: Screenshot_20211125-091656_Samsung Notes.jpg

Congrats on a nice year. I was at Fairchild in the late 60s and my wife and I like to rent a boat and fish Deer Lake. Is that lake still going strong?. Your post reminded me of it. Caught a number of trout there.

I used to keep a running count when I was younger. Doesn’t matter to me anymore tho. Limit went from 50 to 20 a couple years ago.

I tried a running count two years ago. I found myself getting into a numbers game and thought this is getting me away from what I came out here to do - just enjoy the water and take what fish are offered.

When the fish are biting I forget the count quickly. Then I becomes a best guest scenario

From the looks of your count, it looks very promising. Good luck!

My dad joined the service (Fairchild) and moved from Kansas out here. Deer still has good trout and lake trout fishing. Some bass and a few crappie.
