Default Updated Design Panoptix Transducer Holder for Tin Boats

This Panoptix transducer mount was a redesign from my original one recycling old RAM mounts. A Tin Boat usually needs a mount that reaches over the Gunnel from the Casting Deck. This TIG welded mount does just that while loosing a good amount of weight. I will be 2K Urethane painting tomorrow and final assembled pictures will follow.

I'm in the same boat as you, I like your design. I went with the old hand tightened trolling motor bracket and I'm searching for a better idea also.

I painted it today so Friday I can install the transducer. This unit will move between my Blazer and Tin Boat. I wired it for Plug & Play convenience.

Last picture, took it out today and had a very good morning. Here on the coast the crappie are moving in the creek channels, I was able to spot the schools of fish very well. The compact nature of the mount made it very easy to deploy & stow for moving. As far as making more I have too many projects incomplete to take on any others. Thanks
