I’ve been digging my k9 10lb in white. Smooth and doesn’t fray like the spider wire invisbraid which I liked because it was white too. Sniping braid is the new one out.

I think the sniping braid is made to show up on livescope if I read the writeup correctly

Another point I'll make is when you price a spool of the good stuff, your going to be shocked after buying mono. What you need to know is that you won't be re-spooling line as often. I've got line on some spools that is five years old and still in good shape. There is a learning curve with this product. For instance, if you get hung up, do NOT wrap the line around your hand and pull. You'll only do that once. Good luck.

    Very accurate description.

Original fireline 4 or 6, in smoke. People have been trying every since to make a better line, and IMO, have came close, but failed. I cant understand the love for Power Pro. I've used it several times in several weights, and had two separate, weights, and time of manufacture spools have random breaks deep in a cast on a fresh spool. It sounds rough going through the guides too.

Im a fan of some of the suffix products, and Daiwa as well, but Fireline has my heart. Been using it since early 2000s

Yes, the Ice Fireline Crystal 2 lb. is awesome for tiny 1/64 oz jigs.

I tell you I put off for years trying a Japanese premium braid. I would buy the cheaper JDM braid but really didn’t care for it. It was just like the many US market braids I had tried….and I tried a lot of US market braids. But after getting the Varivas braid it will be on one…or more….of my reels always. No noise in the guides….no fraying……soft and very supple. It will cast micro jigs…lures a country mile. Hook sets are instant. Thanks go out to Stan…Yodie…..for trying these lines out and doing useful write up’s about them.

    Regards
