brings to mind just how serious tournament fishing can be , life threatening in many cases.
a few years ago some fellas here about lost both of their lives on a high wind day of tournament crappie angling .
from what I understood they were using some sort of drags to slow the boat drift and somehow got turned sideways and pushed into the dam .
hear tell the brand new fully loaded lund went down and other anglers rescued them before they did as well .
sorry to hear about lives lost ,
sad news for sure , my condolences to the families and friends .

Dec 4, 2010 I lost some friends that drowned in a duck hunting accident. NW wind gusting to 45. 2 of them were found immediately. That is actually when folks knew something was wrong they found those 2 washed up on shore. Neoprene waders floated them. The 11 yr old wasnt recovered until thr day before mother's day 2011. My neighbor was supposed to be with them that day and he had a much larger boat. But he lost a bearing on his trailer. He blamed himself for their death for a long time.

Had a buddy of mine tell me he left his in a storage compartment of his boat and it inflated. And since the storage compartment was full, when it went off it busted the top of the compartment.

Mine was in a compartment under the seats with nothing else in it. No harm to the boat at all
