    Default One of those days…

Went fishing today. Cool morning but turned into a really nice day. Was glad to not have as much wind as the last couple of weekends. Tough fishing from kayak in strong wind. While I didn’t keep count I’m guessing I caught around 20 today and had about 18 of those put that Wally Marshall mud on me……. Boy those fish sure are getting full bellies…lol.

Sounds like you had a good day!

Well I am hoping to be able to use my boat next year and get back to fishing since I am getting my knees replaced. Then I should be able to get up and down from my front deck.

I have been considering putting a step into mine about half way up the deck. Sure make it easier on your knees

well I can’t do that because my TM batteries are under my deck just before the step up and that step up is the top of a large live well.

I was considering a step before you get to the deck. It works on my knees pretty good. I go on and off the front deck more than I should

Mine has a slight rise up area between the floor and front deck so the step up to the deck isn’t bad. But from the back deck to the floor is a pretty long drop. Either step on the bench seat or way across it to the floor. I use the throwable cushion on the seat to keep from damaging the upholstery. I need to find some one who makes an escalator to go from the back deck to the floor!

And best wishes on speedy recovery and great results from the knee replacement.
It’s hard to stumble when you’re on your knees.
