I’ve been fishing these three lakes for over fifty years. Nice pics.
Not sure about your regulations there . Here you can catch all you want to . Just have to quit once you keep the one that fills your limit . There have been days I have caught over 100 keepers here but just keep releasing once one short of a limit .

Boy, a lot of nice fish in those picks.
Alot of those are jealous folks . I been posting about the need to reduce limits here and got haters . We had some fisheries surveys saying few people catch limits . I posted hundreds of limits to show them otherwise and big ones taking biggest hit . Should see the haters come out . I tell them If limits are lowered or slots added it would apply to all of us .

We can keep fishing even with a limit in the box. Even cull if we want to. I’ve had numerous days of over a hundred fish caught and released. We have a fantastic fishery here in NW Pa and NE Ohio.

    @ Nimrod

I use 1/32 under bobbers shallow. I use 1/16 when trolling or casting in 16 feet of water or less. I use 1/8 in up to 20 feet. And use 1/4 for trolling close to boat at night.

Jig head colors don't matter much, I just buy the cheapest.

As far as my electronics: I use a Garmin striker 5v. - 299.00 dollars

Main trolling motor is GPS Xi3 which is in the shop right now (less than a year old) and have no idea how long they will take to fix it. Been 2 months already. Wont buy one ever again. Very poor service in our area. Had to drive it 70 miles to Pittsburg. So I am using a 5 lb dumbbell anchor or surf rod with 20 lbs line to hold me onto bridges...lol

Want to buy a Rhodan next but they say at least 4 months back order. Man I cant give my money away...haha

I use a 100ah Battle born lithium battery: Company is amazing. Had a problem with the battery (1000.00) that was probably my fault and they sent me a new one. It took longer for fed ex to get it to me.... 2 weeks in transit...lol

So I am using a 300.00 Minnkota transom trolling motor and still catching the same.

I attached my self to a underwater bridge this morning using the heavy fishing rod with 20 lbs mono. Caught fish for 2 straight hours with no one else around until a kayak showed up.

No big ones but a boat load of 10 inch crappie. One 12 inch.

I could not believe I had Mosquito lake to my self from dark to 2 hours past sunrise. This lake is known for high pressure.

Gorgeous sunrise with beautiful misty fog on top of the crisp 30 degree air. Add the birds and and no other boats. Its good to be alive.

Someone asked if I ever keep really big ones?

Only if they are gut hooked and will die. That's what happened more often when I used to use minnows.

I also kept some large black crappie for comparison pics a few years ago.

First pic was a gut hooked white almost 17 inches.

    The pic of 3 blacks was 15.5 / 16.25 / and 16.75

But like I said the best eaters are 11 to 12 inches. So all the big girls and boys go back.

Us crappie.com fisherman/fisherwomen love it when the jet skies and fun boats are not on the lake. Just before ice comes on we have a good time getting those ice cold crappie from shore in marinas!!! LOL
