Get the bigger box. Mine has 12 compartments and it’s not nearly big enough.

Those work really good after a cold front too. Last time my son and I went, we didn't catch a fish, until we started using them. Then we caught several.

EDIT: Wrong, we were using the little minnow jig. Itsy Bitsy Swim'r I think.

I use those alot especialy if they are being finicky and don't hestitate to go with a lighter jig head too. Sometimes those on a 1/64 oz. or .5 gram gejabikin will get em when nothing else will. Scott

For those who have the patience to use those…and if no wind they are deadly.

I finally found some Bobby Garland Itty Bit Slab Hunt'Rs this weekend. I stocked up on the usual colors that have caught fish for me in the past. I usually keep 3 rods on the deck rigged with different color Baby Shad. Lately you catch one or two on a color and they will shut down. Changing to a new color will get you a fish or so more off the dock. This pattern has persisted all for a while now. I did some much needed boat organizing and stocking. Put those little Slab HuntRs in a plano box and got rods rigged for the following morning. First under the dock was Baby Shad in purple mist. Two short fish from the first 3 cast, then crickets for 10 cast. I set that rod on the deck and picked up the rod with the Itty Bit Slab HuntR in blue ice. Fish after fish after fish fell victim to that little Slab HuntRAttachment 411701. Upwards of 50 came off that dock in an hour and a half. Frankly I lost count and 35 at they hour mark. There will be some good fishing in that spot. Everything measured just under the 10" minimum. It was a heck of a good time. That little bait earned it's place in my boat

I also prefer the small lures especially about 1.5" with some "slab" or "G" sauce on them.
