    Default DeWalt 18v tools

I see there is a 6A lithium ion direct replacement for the DeWalt 18v nicad tools. Guess I will keep my Dewalt stuff. My Dewalt stuff is still in great condition. Don't use them much anymore.

I went to all Ridgid tools. Just had a battery go bad after 3 years of hard use and Ridgid lifetime warranty had a new battery at my door within three days, free of charge.
The older I get the more I realize the therapeutic benefits of fishing

They also make an adapter that goes in the 18 volt tool and accepts a 20 volt battery

My 20v stuff is porter cable, drill and 1/4 inch impact. Not heavy duty stuff, but they were a gift.

Saw yesterday where Dewalt is coming out with a new battery. It will be made up of lipo cells like what they use in the RC world. Interesting to see how it performs
