    Default Need Livescope update help!

After adding the new Lithium battery to my boat, I now have the "Ghost Tree"

I decided to update my unit, because it's long overdue. I downloaded the update onto the micro SD card and installed it on the unit. It seems to have worked like it should but I don't have any of the new features that I see on the videos online. When the unit powers up, it says version 13.40 but the chart/map part says version 20.02. The "ghost reject" function is not there. Nothing looks different at all on my screen. I have the 93SV and all the videos I can find are on larger units.

This is where I downloaded the upgrade and it seemed to install correctly. It said it installed and the unit restarted. Thanks for any assistance. I'm in a pickle. I have a week long fishing trip, starting tomorrow!

The 13.40 is the last update for the 93sv Plus units.
If yours isn’t a UHD model it won’t have many of the features that are in the most recent updates. The older units are no longer being supported.

According to the Garmin website, version 13.40 is the latest software version. I guess with the "piddly" 93 SV I don't get all those cool new features.....

That's just great. I hate it when companies stop supporting their "older" products. I bought this unit new, less than 3 years ago.

I only got the buttons on the screen with the upgrade with my 93sv plus. When you upgraded, you got the ghost tree. When they did the prespive upload is when the ghost tree started. You can't go back now. Good luck. Don

I haven't updated/upgraded my 93sv UHD since I purchased it, and I still have a ghost tree. But it mostly shows up when I have the settings set kinda high, otherwise it's not really much of a factor (or I just don't pay much attention to it )

As you can see in this pic ..... that fuzzy section to the left of the fish is NOT a Shad school, it's what I'm calling the "ghost tree" :

Or are you guys calling the darker band running from 20ft to 45ft at a angle the "ghost tree" ???

3 years on a fishfinder is about the same as 3 years with a laptop. Technology goes quickly.

The band that’s running at a 45 degree angle is what I’m calling it. It’s much more bright on mine and if the bottom is hard it’s really bad
