    Default GARMIN STRIKER 7SV

I'm losing transducer signal and ride around a while and turn it on and it works. making me mad.
I want to cut the 12pin adapter out. But I can't find a diagram.
    Can anyone here help?

I would recommend asking the question in the electronics forum.

And I wouldn't cut anything transducer related on purpose.

If the plug is coming disconnected and causing the loss of signal I would bend one pin ever so slightly then reinsert. Bent pin will help it grab hold

A picture of the plug would help. I have not seen a transducer cable that wasn't locking type connector

My Garmin simply inserts with a push with no lock. All 3 wires are the same.

I have had issues with where the connectors plug into the headunit. Mostly the power connecter. That was my biggest gripe with those units. What helped the most for me was fastening the wires with P-clips so they were supported and not hanging by the plug.

I did have issues with the transducer on my 5CV. I think the cable was broken inside, I switched to the built-in transducer on my Terrova and didn't have any more issues.
