Default Slab and Chuck Adams check out Crappie nibble and slab sauce video

I decided to do an experiment and video to show how a Crappie nibble doused in Slab Sauce dissolves underwater. Pretty cool video. I personally do not fish with minnows. It is too hard to keep them alive and to hard to find sometimes when you are ready to go fishing. Give me a minnow imitation and some Slab sauce.

Pretty cool Ship. Good job, it is a unique view, a view from the Ship, well maybe better said as a view from below the Ship. Thanks for the shout out. Slabsauce rocks.

Thank you Ship for the wonderful underwater look.
I have Slab sauce and sprayed on hand ties before. Never thought about adding it to the nibbles.
Again, thank you so very much for the insight.

Before ditching the minnow bucket for good I think I will rig a jig on top or maybe bottom and alternate the arrangement on each of my poles.
I do catch doubles on occasion and understand that unless moving the top bait is just hanging next to main line. I guess my three way swivel at top is useless at times while sitting still just outside the target zone or when dead sticking.
Maybe a loop not at top?
Thanks again for the cool video.
    Chuck

I’ve found some days the fish prefer one scent over the other. I’ve also seen days when slab sauce is freshly applied it always catches but after a little bit of fishing they aren’t interested so….. soak them dunk them keep it fresh apply liberally! You know where to get more sauce from!

A very interesting visual experiment Mike, that effectively illustrates the reaching distance of a dissolving nibble. I always knew they didn't last very long... but your video shows (two minutes) exactly what's going on.
I have three colors of crappie nibbles and both flavors of the Slabsauce. In fact: I was just outside in my building getting the rods ready, tying up some leaders, and putting some jig combinations together.
Tomorrow, I will turn my attention to the boat: changing out the butt seat, getting the Millenium Spyder-Lok rod holders up front, and the four kicker rod holders in the rear. I can't wait to get after 'em very soon.

Awesome perspective. Looked like smoke coming off that nibble. Thanks for taking the time to make the video Mike
