Great video. I had not heard of fiddle worms until I moved to the mountains of North Alabama. Thought them folks were trying to take me snipe hunting

I saw this one some time back. I had once watched a man do it with a metal rod. He called it “Grunting”. The vibrations tickle them silly.
Maybe they will bite this one……

Saw a fella do it with a small chainsaw. Cranked it up and let it sit there and idle on the ground

I so enjoy all his videos. And of course I had to try to fiddle. It seems my musical talents are a bit lacking! Maybe I just didn’t have a good audience. Any way of producing free bait is worth trying to me plus I just enjoy learning and doing things.

I think the biggest trick is to know where the worms are

Easiest way is just turn an old piece of carpet upside down around an area that has worms,,, but wet it the night before and cover it up some with leaves. ,,,within a day or 2 ,, just pull the carpet back and start filling up your container,….they eat the carpet fibers for food,,,just leave the carpet there for months of great bait all year round

Didn't know they would eat the fibers. They certainly like to be under something damp
