    Are often frowned at but when it's those big'uns it's actually a lot of fun fighting them on long rods......

    Looks like a good fight. Those Limits Tackle jigs are no joke. The wedge heads are my favorite now.

    friends told me not to throw those drum back and are good eating so going to try them. same as the redfish so why not?

    better than redfish by a good mile in the edible chart , had a conversation with some folks a week or so ago and they let me know right off when I drum talked a bit ,they eat them and toss sandbass back .....it is what it is and YES i ate many of them back in the day ....
    not much meat on them though , but quite tasty for sure

    had a puerto rican gf back when that did some fillets "trout almondine" style about 45 years ago.

    Never tried it.. now you have me wanting to go find one. Never caught one before.
