With a pontoon, you get tossed to the floor of your boat instead of the water when a bass boat or a wave boat catches you unaware.

Any day I'm fishing is a good day, regardless of what I catch.

Since it has happened to me a few times I can tell you it is a definite plus.

I got rid of the big heavy bass boat and went with a smaller lighter aluminum I can tell the difference. That bass boat you could stand on the front deck through whatever. That aluminum bobs like a cork. I have had to sit down on the floor and let those wake boat rollers go by.

Mid 40's has started to make those glasses a necessary part of my life for detailed work

They also have the added benefit of making the small fish I catch look like whales
