Where I have fished on smaller lakes in MN, I found that there is no such thing as two boats fishing closely together. Once a second boat approaches someone catching fish, it never fails that more boats want to horn in. It's either one boat fishing alone or multiple boats parking nearby. This summer on vacation in MN I was fishing a very small hump that rose sharply from 25' to 6' on top and I was catching a limit of crappies off the side of the hump at 15'. And once again the two boat syndrome led to a third boat arriving. Unfortunately the idiots drove over and parked on top of the hump about half a cast distance away. They made a lot of noise, caught nothing and spooked the fish. Whatever happened to common courtesy and sportsmanship?
