    Default Sauced at lunch time

Now not in the traditional sense of the word ,but in the crappie world it is not a big deal to get sauced at lunch time .
It was slow at first for sure ,a purple and white handtie wasn't on the menu sauced or not , found some but wasted valuable time away from work trying to make them eat it .
went with a the rising sun next and sauced or not it was ON the menu ...
did I win you might ask , yes would be my answer , it was of course quite easy to win this particular invitational as I was the only invite and competitor against a sea of fish .
the bite was somewhat variable and where they "were" last visit was just that . the holding pattern changed for some reason and the fish were out a bit deeper .
dropping water temperatures and the migration that is under way there had play in it I am sure . So off i went after an hour with a fish count of 32 crappie mixed black and white in all the variable sizes and 3 bluegill for good measure too ....
35 isn't terrible in an hour ,but it would have been a bit better at around 50 plus for sure . the fish were still not really hard thumping and lots of line slacks and that might be a fish were the ticket to a hook set . still missing a few for some odd reason that I normally wouldn't
might be losing a step as I approach 65 at a fast pace , but in the end I left with a smile and it was good times , watched some "folks" across the way in a boat up to something I never did exactly figure out and they have what they are doing down to an art , the police boat passed right by them and didnt even notice them tied up in the cove to the bank and from the way they were acting they are up to something that isn't likely totally legal .
that is my lunchtime last week tale of the week .....
