    Yes it does. Think this one will be a fisher instead of a shelf sitter. Rarely do I find a set matched up and both pieces usable.

    here in Texas it could be used for crappie , lots of the lakes here have pretty good size crappie and "bass" tackle is what some folks are using more or less .

    I usually use light action rods myself. For a glass rod this one has some backbone
