    Default Varivas report

Got out today to try out this new line. Where has this line been all my life. No problems at all !!! No line twist!! Man does it cast far & smooth. It is crazy the difference I could tell between the poles I had on my boat. Getting ready to place order for a couple more spools going to respool all my reels with stuff. My opinion it can't be beat.

I use their Super Trout Master FC shock leader when fishing for trout. It has a very low refractive index and small diameter in the 2.5# test. I use about a 6 foot section as I am using polyester line…which has no stretch……and needs a shock leader. It works very well and I have landed quite a few trout in the 18-19 inch range with this setup. To put it simply it is great stuff. Now I use the polyester line when fishing for other species and a shock leader is still required but not an FC leader. I use their Super Trout SVG nylon shock leader for all other fishing other than trout as an FC leader is not necessary for panfish…..but using polyester I still need a shock leader. I’ve been using one or more Varivas products for several years. I am a huge fan of their new Ajing Blue Moon FC 2# test line. Used it to catch a lot of fish….the testing phase is complete. It is now one of my go to lines….although for an aging person it is a little difficult to see.

Look at the sight edition. That's what I use & love it.
