All your son needs to do is catch his first fish and he'll likely be hooked. However, when he's still quite young, just quit fishing when he wants to quit and be patient. Attention spans are short for many years. I overdid it with my own two boys and they never really stayed interested in the sport. Not making that same mistake with my grandkids.

soon they realize they can multitask and time for fishing/hunting and also plenty of time for Girls as well.

Lucky guy my last wife loved fishing AND had a family lake full o fish! happiest times were when we were fishing together. Current one loves to fish as well and bought us a condo on a lake close to our main home! This one thinks I'm a keeper so it's all good!
