Size: 107.3 KBis rod and reel. I wished it had not been broken beyond repair. I would have brought it home. I think it would be awesome to fish with.
May have even shot docks well once ya got used to releasing your thumb to cast.

You have a great nose for finding the unusual, DSJ. Too bad it was broken. That rig is a new one for me - I never had heard of it.

Well, I’m “older than dirt “, I remember these, pretty sure the True Temper name is connected. They used to carry these in our local Western Auto store where I lived at the time.

Now that you mention it, it does look like something they would carry

Pescador, is correct. The wife and I both had one for fishing at Panama City, while we were both stationed at Tyndall AFB. The salt water, took a beating on them.

That Gulf water is rough on a lot of gear.

The Folks still live in coastal Alabama.
Dad was telling me about the flesh eating bacteria is bad now. Sure wasn't anything like that down there when I was growing up

I still have one of those ,a Bronson 63L , some new line and a little oil and would work just fine . When I bought it they offered a padded case with it , misplaced the case years ago .
