When they first became a sponsor, I viewed their website. Difficult to know what was what actually. It was all at a discount, but I could not determine what would be best for me. I want to use the line as a four foot section of leader. Any suggestions ?
The twistmaster I'm trying right now might be your ticket. I love the Champaign (slight brown) color, seems to disappear when in these Florida waters. But still visible when out of the water making tying easier, and also seeing the line move across the top of the water (when a fish takes it). I've used it here briefly now, 6lb test line casts like 4lb test IMHO. Really liking it, but more testing of the other lines to come.

I just spooled up some of this. Wowser, it cast a country mile. I only tried it off my sea wall. There’s no fish there cause it’s the Florida heat and it’s too shallow to catch anything this time of year. But it really cast good. I can’t wait to have a fish on this line. I also look forward to trying the other lines as well. Thanks Varivas.

Twitching line on it’s way to my parcel box. I use braid so a leader is needed. I use 8lb test, so it will be nice to use something thinner to impart more action. Thank you for the advice.
Maybe they will bite this one……

The spool of Twitch showed up today and I had enough light left in the day to tie up my rods with it. Pull tested UNI knots onto swivel connection. I actually think it is stronger than my spools of Trilene. Definitely left me with the impression that it was a lot thinner at the 8lb class. All antidotal opinions of course, but what really made me smile was the way the line behaves. None of this coil up because that mean old spool makes me do that. Hung perfectly straight. Like a long piece of girl’s hair, blonde of course. Color is blonde for sure. DO NOT leave the scraps just laying around because…..well just watch out.

Knot strength will mean that I can land the larger fish when they come.

Being whisper thin means good concealment and less hinderance of action due to having to use a thicker line to get up to that weight class.

    Then it fixed me dinner.

Well it didn’t actually fix me dinner. Hasn’t caught me dinner yet either, but I strung all 8 rods up with it and look forward to it improving my catches. I think it will, and thanks for the heads up on this. That was great advice and this line is going to be a fine choice for me when I start dropping down in test for my leaders. I would actually have some confidence in this at those lighter weight classes and try 6lb stuff acting like it’s 4lb stuff.

My 8lb Twitch has the diameter of Trilene’s 6lb XT…..roughly. More or less. Best guess.

The flow of the line will surprise you too. Straight, no coil to it. Low memory and low stretch.

It was nice that the company offered us some deals and that there will be giftaways and such. Make a great gift for someone who wouldn’t ordinarily try something like this. I’ll fish with it soon and report back.

Nice choice on the sponsor, too.

I said a report was coming.

Seemed like it was especially durable for such a thin line.

There’s the report. I go again in a few days for more testing.

I just attached the 100% fluoro carbon 4# over trout shock leader to some 6# braid to try. The line is thin, very slick, and extremely clear. I needed good light to tie my knots! Came with a really neat line keeper. Instead of a rubber band it has a holder that reminds me of a pony tail holder. Much easier to get to the line than trying to pick a tight rubber band of a spool.
