    Default Trigger Spin reels

I am looking for a higher end trigger spin. I really like them for shooting docks. I do own a Pfluger reel and a few of the MrCcappie. On the MrCcappie the handles aren't smooth enough causes the setup to jump when I'm reeling and for some reason when I set the hook on the Pfluger the line hangs there my next cast and I have to peel line out to be able to cast further. The reels will be going on a 6'6" Cashion and a 5'6" Pro Angler. I mainly use Mr crappie 4# hivis mono. I'm happy with the distance I get just don't like the retrieve.
    Any recommendations is greatly appreciated.

Yeah I saw that. That's a really good price. I just wish I could pay $80 and get twice the reel in quality.

Try changing brand of line on the Pfluegar to see if it's the reels fault.
When you re-spool, keep tension on the line to get a tight wrap.
It sounds like the line is loose on the spool, and when you set the hook it causes the line to dig in.

I agree with Jack. I have one and I love it. Easy to dock shoot with.

I don't get to fish with them. The wife claims them
Never thought about using them to shoot docks with. May have to try to teach her to shoot docks with it

The timing of the release of the jig and the line is a whole easier with a trigger spin. Try it, Jack!

I have used a regular spinning reel so long I would have to relearn with a trigger spin. Work out good for people I take along

I can use either. But yeah the trigger spins are easier. You don't even have to catch the line just the trigger. I hope one of the major reel players are listening. Give is a high quality trigger spin. LOL
