    Default Floating/ submersible fishing light

Participating in SnakeRivers thread by almost the same name has me thinking. If you set up on the lights to fish at night and they are hooked to the boat if for some reason you have to move the light have to move with you. Breaking down the food chain that took time to rebuild. That isn't cool. But of you had a Styrofoam base with the light hooked to itand the battery on top of the float use light rope to tie off to whats available. Or a string with a heavy sinker should keep it in place on the bottom. Schools of shad circling your light, fishing to good to mess up.? Now no need to disrupt that food chain. Leave the light on fpr them. While you take the little woman tothe neareat facilities

Good idea but you may come back to find someone fishing it for you. Which wouldn't be cool at all. Knowing how people are these days, it could happen

I fish from the shore, but I had a guy steal my spot when I took about 10 steps to my tackle box. It wasn't even a good spot, and didn't have any features that would make it noticeably good. He squeezed right by me in order to stand right where I was. No doubt people would steal a spot that has a noticeable amount of baitfish.

Very true. It would be nice to be able to move outa little distance from the light. That is after all are where the big ones hang out

Exactly why I take my "facilities" with me .... a 5gal bucket, some walmart/kroger bags, TP, and a poncho you can't see thru (for daytime use or if a lady is onboard). It's kinda like the pop-up enclosures for pontoons in a DIY sorta way. For the #1 purpose for us guys, I have a plastic urinal.

That is yet another reason she will be happy when we go get a pontoon boat

I purchased a female urinal and keep it in the boat for my wife. She was somewhat skeptical at first but has decided that it is a functional accessory for boating.

City Girl ( my wife) may expect working plumbing with an exhaust fan. I hope her imagination is good

was so proud of my wife when she had to really go and we were out floating to simply lower herself off back and her buttocks in the water! when we are cruising on our home lakes there are facilities at every end of lake. the joys of having a pontoon!
