I hooked my LiveScope up to cordless power tool batteries. I use a 12 V 7 AH battery for the display unit and a 20 V 6 AH battery for the module/transducer unit.
I had seen several videos on YouTube about this and decided to give it a try. I was worried about display quality and how long a battery would last but was surprised at how good the display images were. The batteries appear to last 4-6 hours on a full charge. I have two of each so I can swap out when the charge gets low.
I suggest looking into this setup to power your lights. If your lights are LED these batteries should last a couple of days before recharge.
Here's how LiveScope looked with this set up.

Any day I'm fishing is a good day, regardless of what I catch.
Also use a small motorcycle charger. They are cheap alsp. Put out 2 amps I believe. Used to be the only thing the old man would use to charge batteries
