I find it odd on that list of advantages turtle whisperer didn't make the list..
I thinking that if a fella could whisper in such a way as to have a turtle point toward where the fish are. Sounds just as good as live scope without the need for batteries.

unfair advantages are often subtle things others never dreamed of , the turtle was pointing west and that's the direction we went ,just saying .
our first lake we hit on the road trip was ridiculous on fire when we rolled up to it before we hit this one ,btw

I honestly don't miss it that much. . It is in the stage of coming and going. Nothing smells like you remember

I pass a huge garbage dump on the way to and from work everyday. These damp summer mornings that thing gets ripe.
Large enough of a dump they have piping inside it to remove the methane gas and inject it into the natural gas pipeline a few miles away. There is a set of flare burnoff stacks that would rival any Gulf oil rig up there burning 24/7. Not being able to smell through that section of road is an advantage

losing ones sense of smell must be an odd thing for sure , hopefully yours comes back soon , but as stated it could also have it's advantages as well .
