Default Used my new toy today

I recently saw a Fish-Eat-Live show that featured David Jones. David is an acquaintance who guides and fishes tournaments too. During the show’s cooking segment, David was using a strange looking cooker to fry fish that really peaked my interest, the Fryin Saucer. Vicki and I cook for just the two of us a lot and our normal fish cooker uses a lot of oil, takes a long time to heat up, and is a pain to clean up. I looked into the Fryin Saucer. It uses a quart of oil, heats up fast, cleans up easily, and comes in a storage bag that holds the cooker when it is folded flat. At $159, it was a real deal for me.
I spent 5 minutes and no tools to put it together. Heat up was no more than 15 minutes, and I cooked a quart bag of Grenada crappie fillets in 30 minutes. The cooker is surrounded by the large ring that lets you put the cooked items away from the oil but still stay piping hot. I’m sold!
