Keep seeing them, even after SLAB reset the site. But did notice that the site sped up.
When your posting a comment, to someone's post, and then you click to submit it. Sometimes it asks if you want to leave the page.
Click to leave the page, don't stay on the page. The post will still be posted.
I believe that is what is causing them.
Not a guru, but just my thought.

Yep, that's one way I know it'll happen. You're just too quick. When posting there's a circle thing that shows up (a spinning thing right near where you click), and if you don't wait long enough, it'll ask that question. So I guess the lesson is, just make sure you click post once, and wait a bit. Posting an update will always take longer than just reading and moving between pages.
Some communities I'm in suggest reporting double posts to moderators so they can take them down. Is that something suggested here? I know some sites don't want admins to be overwhelmed with reports.

I usually try to check behind what I post and if it gets doubled delete one of them. Just to help keep the place neat and tidy.

My double post don’t have a pop up to stay or leave. Just takes an unusual amount of time to post. Once it does there are two posts.
I get them using my phone and tablet. I also access the site and do not use the app
