Slab, what part of central Fla are you in? I’m going to Winter Garden to see my family in a week and was wondering about crappie fishing in the area.

I'm on Lake Griffin. You're welcome to come fish with me, that would not be a problem. Generally speaking the fish in the lakes along the St. Johns River system are bigger and likely more plentiful. I'm on Lake Griffin, part of the Harris Chain. It's getting better here, but the lakes here have fewer and smaller fish. Having said that, if you got your own boat, I'd suggest a lake on the St. Johns. If you want to go and see what happens, I can take you on Lake Griffin. PM me when you're in town.

Oh, you also must eat some ribs at Oakwood. Just sayin'

Thanks for the invite! Also, that BBQ looks killer, we’ll definitely have to hit that place.
