Boat ramps for launching boats

Most are too entitled these days, lack good up bringing. When I was growing up most of these things being done would have got a fella whipped. Back then a fella that was inconsiderate got a good talking to and made to see the error of his ways. Times were simpler and evryone knew everyone else and people had respect for themselves and others.

It will still happen around these parts. The Mississippi boys I know don’t put up with such foolishness. They will call you out in a heartbeat.

We are discussing getting a pontoon boat. I am considering putting it at a marina to avoid some of the hassle of getting launched, plus there are usually bass tournaments every weekend here and you are not allowed to use the launches in town with the threat of having your vehicle towed and impounded. So that means you have to launch out out laying areas where your vehicle may not be safe from the converter theives. All those things add up to it may be worth it to have a slip in the marina worthwhile.

What public ramps or private off limits unless your in Bass Tournament . Did I understand that wrong ?

It is public launches. I am thinking that was an empty threat but who knows. The fella was pretty upset he was told that. I would have been too. I have personally have been stoppedin the road 20 minutes before I was all to continue on the work so that all the bass boats could line up on the Hwy to launch.

There are loading areas and no parking areas in front of ramps not the same spots But some places the enforcement is next to nothing and other places they carry it too far .

Complaining about ramp adequate and then complaining about getting a warning ticket for parking in a loading zone.....about the same as complaining about Live Scopers hurting the crappie population and then using Live Scope to catch and keep limit after limit yourself.

I have never gotten a ticket in a loading zone what you smoking ? I just ask when our agencies going to look at our fisheries . They are not worried about livescope and told me so . Everyone I take fishing has same right to a limit as anyone else . If changes made they would be for everyone not just a few .

Livescope is costly. Lot of cheaper ways to over fish a body of water than that.

Same thing was said about spider riggers and never came to light. Until then stop bashing people for something that is well within their rights and stop railroading threads.
