Outlaw, goodness on the nice fish. You must be on vacation, making these posts in the later evening.

I remember your photos when you finally “retired” your whaler. Talk about well thrashed…

I see people using plastic pipes and such for their attractors, and I like that you went with something that will not be lying strewn about the lake bottom long after the thrill is gone. Our fish already have plastics in their flesh, as do we, and it just seems silly to purposefully introduce more. I would rather see steel than plastic, and bamboo is better still. Nicely done.
Edison said- many of life’s failures are people who did not realize just how close to success they were…..when they gave up.

biodegradable is typically the way to go , plastic will eventually reduce to micro "fish egg" looking particles that fish will consume . best ever stuff is hard wood , it will last long and holds larger fish, but it is really time consuming and difficult to work with .
bamboo imitates willow very well and crappie in these parts will march to a submerged willow

best i can tell you is it is black rough raw unfinished fiberglass , it for sure is not slippery and the repair is water tight ,the floor was gone in it when he got it . it sits uncovered outside and has for many years from what i understand

All it has to do is float. With the way used boat prices are now it is worth twice as much as it was last year
