This morning there was a large deer rubbing noses with a decoy deer in the backyard. Wish I got a picture. The dogs were going nuts inside behind the pane glass door. Must be a deer virus going around.

I figured, it's going to be a great day to fish!: sunny with some clouds and a cool breeze. But the fishing gods had other plans - the truck wouldn't start and had to be towed! Oh well, my 2003 Chevy Silverado/96,000 miles has done great all these years and never needed a tow before now. Too bad it didn't happen on a weekday. Be lucky to get it back Tues. (...and no, I don't fish from shore.)

Hand me a fishing rod any day the pressure is falling and the front is in sight! The bite is on. Great post.

A guy in his camper across from us came over to look in my cooler the first day. His boat dry, it appeared as he believed a crappie could not be caught in the conditions I fished in. Anyway if you tell yourself it's a bad day to fish and pass on going you know how many will be in your cooler. Zero.

60s here in SE PA as well. A welcome relief for a few days. Last week was a rough one so nice to get out and enjoy the outdoors.
