I know a local guide who uses them with a 1/32 jig and runs from .4 to .9 mph in bays 2 to 9ft deep and hammers them in Feb and march. Red/ Chart is his best color.

Seems trolling any small plastic on a light jig would limit one to depth trolled as well as speed. Too fast, the lure stays near the surface - not good for fish down in 10'. Wonder what the action of the lure swimming it at a steady speed and if it gets more strikes at times than pause & wind.
