Tools, guns, anything magnetic they can pull up. Most places it's the rule if you haul it out you haul it off. Seems like a lot of work. I metal detect some. I would rather find places I can find relics. I don't go too often. I don't like digging that much especially when it is hot outside.
Jack, this isn't the first time this has happened their, Though it's been a bit. Shortly after the lockdowns started, and about 6 months ago. College kids, no classes and bored I recon. First time I offered them a fishing pole to put that magnet away, none of the six of them were even interested. They knew when they got their about a dozen folks were on the bridge fishen, but no matter, the came on and simultaneously started chucken them magnets. One would think after the first pass and no real treasure they would leave, but nope. Fishing their hasn't been the same since...
