    Default Sneaky/Stealth mode

In an attempt to be somewhat sneaky and stealthy , we went for the do it in the darkness mode .
Met him at 6 at the ramp , headlights burning holes in my eyes ,off we went like rabbits in the wee morning hour .
Now is there a method to the madness you might ask yourself , sure there is would be my answer .
he sprays a bit of yellow spray paint at the bottom of the long shoreline of bull rushes and it is a BEACON in the head lights !
in the day light it just looks like a little bit more yellow at the water line than the rest of the bull rushes .
right beside last years bamboo condo it gets dropped and the under water tree line begins .
10 feet of water right on the edge of a slight drop to 14 ,shoreline faces south to open water .
bait gets pushed to that shoreline in the heavily prevailing south winds , crappie lay in wait in the condos and right behind them to ambush a meal .
and there are folks that say I am just lucky and I always say this about that ,,,,
I plan to be lucky my friends
on a side note , not all of what we mark is yellow , so in an attempt to find said stuff , remember that somethings that are rather subtle might be in fact yet another beacon for us less than technologically advanced individuals just out for a boat ride ,stumbling around out on the water trying to ketch a fish
and yes KABOOM is the word

Placing structure/ certainly pays off when one can get away with it.

some spots they frown on it , but out there it has never been a issue . the local corp lake told me yes as long as it aint in boating lanes or swimming areas and it is made of naturally occurring non man made items , i have to give them gps coordinates where and for whatever reason i ALWAYS seem to forget to give them the gps locations over there at that lake

we bought never use gps and barely use the graph lots of times ,no side imaging ,no live scope , and or other techno advances most of the time, know your lake and the patterns and like Sk says move fast and fish slow .

I turned my graph on Saturday for long enough to verify depth on the spot. It was within 2 feet of what Nacionics stated. I turned it back off for the remainder of the trip.
